Hello! I’m Hanna & I’m stoked you’ve found me
I’ve come full circle in life and now reside just down the road from where I grew up in Taranaki, New Zealand
I’m a total homebody so when I’m not photographing & creating memories for others you can find me chilling at home with my husband, two gorgeous but nutty girls, 3 chickens & two cats. I aim to live a simple & sustainable life. Conscious of the climate crisis my goal is to create a garden space that feeds myself and my family as well as caring for & respecting our precious eco system. I’m obsessed with permaculture, composting & mulch and can talk your ear off for hours about gardening if you let me. When I’m not in my garden you’ll find me baking in the kitchen, brewing coffee or exploring one of the many bush tracks our region has to offer.
I also have an unhealthy obsession with Gilmore Girls & watch it pretty much every year.
My photography journey started with the arrival of my first child. Keen on documenting their baby years I soon fell in love with it, it fills my creative side as well as creating nostalgic snippets of our family life. It didn’t take long for me to start capturing others. While a classic portrait is beautiful I live for the chaotic & raw moments. I want to capture personalities as well as having a bit of fun. My biggest drive is for you to be able to look back on these images in 25 years & be taken right back to that moment with fond memories.
